<P>Hi guys</P>
<P>I have installed "hsflinmodem-5.03.27mbsibeta02122600k2.4.18_3-1rh.i686.rpm" for my "zoltrix smart cobra lite 56k" modem. I am running Red Hat linux 7.3(kernel version 2.4.18-3) on i686 architecture. </P>
<P>the problem that i am having is that my modem disconnects after about one hour of connection. kpppd says the daemon died unexpectedly . i looked into the ppp log file and found there the messages like "modem hands up" and "Hangup (SIGHUP)"</P>
<P>And after disconnection when i try to reconnect the connection does not establish with the same message that modem hangs up.</P>
<P>I am appending with this mail the last log file generated by the kpppd.</P>
