<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>My name is Leandro from Brazil and I'm Having a problem with
my modem Conexant Compatible (USR263095, FCC:3095).</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>I'm using Mandrake Linux 8.2 Kernel 2.4.18-6mdk with the above
modem and I'm using it to be a RAS server. </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>First Case: when I try to connect by a desktop modem
(USRobotics FCC:0637) to the Linux Modem (USR 3095) the connection do not hang
up after the connection. But when I try to connect by a laptop modem (TOSHIBA
V.90) it disconnects after some seconds...</FONT></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>Second Case: I made the same installation of Mandrake Linux,
made the same installation of the same version of the hsfmodem in a previous PC
and it is working very well with both client modems(Laptop and desktop
modems)... </FONT></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>Fact: The first case is running through a phone center
and the second case is running through another phone center</FONT><FONT size=2>
and I'm using Microsoft Terminal to connect to the RAS Server instead of Access
to Dial-Up Network</FONT></DIV>
