<DIV>I have using modem perfectly well over year but recently after updating my kernel and other software from SUSE web site I started having problem. Now whenever I try to configure modem it says modem not found in KInternet. What I have seen is /dev/modem isn't loaded while it boots.</DIV>
<DIV>For reference I am including error message from boot.log and output of lspci -vv. I tried hsfstop, modprobe etc but of no use.</DIV>
<DIV>I use Compaq 2500 series notebook with SUSE 8.2. Could someone pls help me.</DIV>
