I have a Sony Vaio VGN-A230P laptop. I installed Ubuntu Dapper 6.06 on it.
usually when I am connected to Internet via hsfmodem after some surfing the web, everything freezes and a kernel panic occurs. (I guess the more firefox tabs I open the more crashes I face.)

5.10) I did not face this problem with appropriate hsfmodem driver.

any idea about solutions to this problem?
Thank you in advance.
