hi,

thanks for your reply. those init strings unfortunately don't seem to help my problem - if it's any help, the output of my /proc/driver/hsf/0/lastcallstatus says that the reason for the call being dropped is "n400 exceeded", something that has been mentioned before on this list, i noticed.

again, if it is of any use, i use the fglrx ati drivers (8.35.5) and lirc modules, and have an hda-intel soundcard - just wondering if there could be a conflict with some of the modules.

thanks.

Hi,

please make sure that your kernel was compiled without the 4KSTACKS
kernel option enabled.

You should also try to use each of the following init. strings to see if
there is a difference:

---
AT &F W1 +ER=1; +DR=1; +MS=V92,0
AT &F W1 +ER=1; +DR=1; +MS=V92,1
AT &F W1 +ER=1; +DR=1; +MS=V90,0
AT &F W1 +ER=1; +DR=1; +MS=V90,1
AT &F W1 +ER=1; +DR=1; +MS=V34,0
AT &F W1 +ER=1; +DR=1; +MS=V34,1
AT &F W1 +ER=1; +DR=1; +MS=V32B,0
AT &F W1 +ER=1; +DR=1; +MS=V32B,1
AT &F W1 +ER=1; +DR=1; +MS=V32,0
AT &F W1 +ER=1; +DR=1; +MS=V32,1
---

Hopefully one of these will be an appropriate workaround for the problem.
