Hi Warren,

Just to clarify Jean-Simon's answer, we are still maintaining
the riptide driver (applying bug fixes etc..) but not much
development will be done beyond that, because the OSS interface on which it
is based is being phased out of the kernel. We are hoping that someone
will eventually use the riptide source-code as the basis for an
ALSA driver. ALSA is the new Linux audio subsystem replacing OSS.

To answer your other question, V.92 should work with the new HSF
drivers on your HSF riptide board.
