Hi,
everything look fine in the output of the commands you have posted. It
is quite possible that the problem is related to a firewall or an IP
misconfiguration.
You could try to run the 'ethereal' program on both system to see where
the ping packets are send and received, it will help fixing the problem.
You could also try to connect to an access point instead to see if there
is a difference.
