[driverloader] Installing driverloader on Ubuntu 5.04?

Hi,

Thanks for the advice. iwconfig does indeed see the card and report it
being there although doesn't show an allocated IP address. Also checked
the gnome network config tool (in Ubuntu's System->admin menu) which
says the interface is up, but it's lying :-)

Machine also hangs on boot (usually, although not all the time). Gets
to "configuring network interfaces" and pauses for while (~30 secs)
then says "Loading cardbus mgr" and freezes. Don't think its hardware
as it all worked OK under Mandrake 10.1

I'm not sure where to go from here; any suggestions much appreciated.

Thanks,
Scoot.
