[driverloader] Installing driverloader on Ubuntu 5.04?

Hi,
please make sure that you have configured the wireless interface with
the network configuration tool provided with Ubuntu. Alternatively, you
could manually edit the '/etc/network/interfaces' file and bring up the
wireless interface with the 'ifup' command. The format of the
'/etc/network/interfaces' file is documented in the interfaces(5) manual
page.
For the crash, it is possible that it is related to DriverLoader. The
kernels of Ubuntu are compiled with the CONFIG_PREEMPT option which is
known to be problematic with the latest version of DriverLoader (2.27).
Improved kernel preemption support will be added in the next release of
DriverLoader, which might fix the crash problem you are experiencing.
