[driverloader] Unable to set ESSID

hi
it does not set the ESSID. For example, running the command: iwconfig eth1
essid MyESSID appears to complete successfully. However, when I check the
interface using iwconfig, the ESSID is not set (it just shows double
quotes). Needless to say I am unable to join the network. Any suggestions or
ideas? Thanks.
