[hcflinux] Tar HCF Driver Installation

Hello all,
I'm a Linux Newbie and am having trouble installing the HCF driver. I am 
using METHOD C: TAR PACKAGE  following the instructions at 
http://www.mbsi.ca/cnxtlindrv/hcf/install.html
Once I get to 3. run "make install" from the top of the package 
directory I get conufsed!
What am I supposed to do? I typed in "make install" but I don't think 
that's what I'm really supposed to be doing! Any help would be greatly 
appreciated!
