Yeah, sorry about that, you're right - the machine has been freezing if the
left unattended for more than an hour. I had decided to do some more
testing before removing some power managment stuff from the kernel. But I
checked last night and the PM stuff is no longer in the kernel. I don't
remember doing the kernel recompile which is why I thought the driver was
at fault. At this stage I ought to know that I should be keeping records of
things like that. :-)
