[hcflinux] Diamond SupraMax PCI Conexant Question

Has anyone successfully gotten this modem running it is a Diamond 56k V.92 SupraMax PCI Fax Modem. I just want to ask before I spend a lifetime of time and money getting it to work only to find out it will never work. It says that it has a Conexant V.92 chip. I dont want help getting it installed I just want a yes or no answer.  Have you been able to get this modem to work on Linux.  My distro at present is RedHat 7.3 with Kernel 2.4.18-3 and i686 Ive downloaded the drivers from mbci. But again I dont want to waste my time if it will never work.  Thanks in advance
