Arrha, it works!!! No one told me that you have to put a link in between /tty/ttyHCF0 & /dev/modem.
Thanks heaps to the developers of this driver.
If appropraite, you might add a comment in your notes about adding the line:
ln -sf /tty/ttyHCF0 /dev/modem
When working with Mandrake.
Thanks

Subject: Aztech 127A/1005 Connection
Hi all again, Still no luck getting connected.
Using the latest generic binary, I have install and configured the driver sucessfully (I think)
Using kppp (under Mandrake 9) when connecting, I get:
- Modem Ready
- Initialising modem The log displays "Looking for OK" or something
Then it just sits there looking silly at me. :-(
Hitting cancel aborts the attempt.
Any ideas why it can't initalise?
Please ask me questions as I probabily don't know what it is I don't know. :~
Thanks
Howard
