[hcflinux] Trying to get a Speedcom + modem working

I am using Suse 8.0 and have a Speedcom + PCI modem. I have downloaded the 
relevent drivers and still can't get it to work. Suse shows that my modem is 
there but when I come to set it up it does not detect or show ttySHCF0, 
please help.
