Well IIRC it's mainly a typical Pat V script file, with a separate small
binary called rpmoffset. I recollect it locates and unpacks the filelist
into a buffer, so that _might_ be too small for some applications. But
I've used it recently to convert the recent win4lin rpms to tgz and load
them...
