[hsflinux] ComCtrlOpen failed, r=1!

hi!

i get the same error message as soeren vogel with the same modem 
(8086:2486) but in a toshiba 3000-514 and with irq10!

i use hsflinmodem-4.06.06.02mbsibeta02040500-1_redhat under redhat 7.2 
with kernel 2.4.18.
irq10 is shared with other devices. can this be a problem?
could someone please help me?
