Just successfully compiled the source RPM for my AMD-optimised kernel on the
above machine and got an OK for my AT command. (Actually I'm now on an ADSL
ISP so I don't even have a modem # to dial for a full test).
I post this 'cause I know there had been issues raised about using the code
for AMD specific kernels and I can confirm (as I'm sure you could) that this
is a *non issue*.
