This is a kernel panic . Do you have APM enabled ? Or powersave in
the BIOS ? The HSF drivers aren't 100% APM compliant - any kind of a
power event usually resulst in a kernel panic. You can verify this by
switching to a text mode screen, dialling out with dip or minicom or
whatever and waiting for a screen blank or some other power event.
You will get a lot of printout on the screen when the panic happens -
