Hi,

your modem with PCI ID 1106:3068 is a VIA AC97 controller, to which various
MC97 modems can be connected. However, only those based on Conexant chips
are supported.

To see if your modem have a Conexant chipset, please insert the HSF driver
modules into the kernel with the 'modprobe /dev/ttySHSF' command in a root
shell and take a look at the end of the output of the 'dmesg' command. If you
have a modem which is not based on a Conexant chipset, you will see an error
message there.

If you do not obtain an error message, please send at support at linuxant.com the
output of 'dumpdiag'. Type the following in a root shell:

---
hsfconfig --dumpdiag
---

Just send us the generated file located in /tmp ('hsfdiag.txt').
It'll help us solve the problem.

Thanks,

Jonathan
