I had run the info command after inserting a PCMCIA modem card earlier
in the day. When I reboot the symlink is correct (and should be
correct in the dumpdiag output I sent) and pointing to /dev/ttySHSF0.
I had pointed kppp directly to /dev/ttySHSF0 and still received a modem
not repsonding error. The symlink error was temporary, yet I have not
been successful in getting hsfmodem to work with 2.6.14 on Debian Sid.
