Hi,
the full version of the driver is required for voice support. Also, you need
a modem with datapump version 73, which seems to be your case.
We did not do extensive testing of the voice functionnality, but it should
work.

Subject: [hcflinux] AOpen FM56-PX
I have just purchased an aopen FM56-PX modem.
I wish to use this to answer incoming calls and run programs depending on
what dtmf tones are entered ( e.g. vgetty will run "program *123#" )
What features do I require to make dtmf tones work? Do I need voice to be
working?
I do not wish to use the modem for data connections so can I use the free
driver to get these features? In the future I may also wish to play with
voice. Does the free driver cover voice?
I installed the free driver and the following is what I got:
listmodem:

It seems from the log that the voice portion may not work. Does this mean
DTMF will not work? I will not be able to connect to a phone line until
tomorrow to test anything so any insight will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Scott
